| Awangarda's Puppy
Nursery, shown below, is designed especially to meet the needs of PON
puppies for early socialization. I wanted an environment that
would be both stimulating and safe for my pups. My Puppy Nursery
is placed in my living area, with my rocking chair beside it, and the TV
on the table. In this way, virtually from birth, I can provide my
pups with the environment they will be living in. My pups are
handled daily and bathed almost daily from birth. The outcome of
this careful socialization is amazing. The families who adopt my
puppies are happy with their temperament and find them easy to train and
to live with.
I am amazed when my pups are seeking the grated area to relieve themselves even before their eyes are fully open. This provides a good basis for house-breaking the pup. My Puppy Nursery is featured in the book, "The Dog Breeder's Guide to Successful Breeding and Health Management", by Dr. Peggy Root of the University of Minnesota.
